MICHIGAN CENTER, Mich. (WLNS) – According to a Facebook post, a candlelight vigil will be held Monday at Michigan Center Football Field to commemorate those who lost their lives attending the Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn.
Three men in their twenties were found dead in their camper van near the festival on Saturday afternoon, two others were taken to hospital in critical condition. Investigators believe the carbon monoxide is to blame, and the generator was located near the trailer.
The vigil will take place around 9:30 p.m. for the community to come together and show their support.
Michigan State Police have also identified the 30-year-old woman who was found dead on Saturday as Melissa Donna Havens, of Croswell, Michigan.
According to MSP, a black man in his thirties, with short black hair, a short beard and wearing a gray hoodie, was seen with Havens before his death. Anyone with information can call Detective Daniel Drewyor at 734-819-8192.
