Angeles Otop will host the 12.12 sale



FOR the second time, Angeles City Government’s One Town One Product (Otop) store will be holding a 12.12 sale from December 1-12, 2021.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said this was part of the municipal government’s continued efforts to support the ‘Pasal-One, Angeleño Pa’ campaign, which aims to promote local products and help micro, small and medium-sized businesses ( BEMP) local, especially under the new normal setting.

IV Executive Assistant Reina Manuel said that for 12 days, starting December 1, the Otop store, kiosks, Facebook page, Shopee account, will feature an item from its 17 local MSME members and put it on sale this that day, with 12 percent discount.

On December 12, Manuel added, the Otop page will host a special Facebook live sale starting at 7 p.m., where all 17 featured products will be sold at special discounted prices.

Besides the huge discounts, there will also be a number of prizes in the 12.12 Otop sale live sale.

Angeles City Economic Development Investment Promotion Officer Irish Bonus-Llego said the 12.12 Otop direct sale includes products from Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts (Ibac), Tamayuc bayong bags, JJBMS water bonsai, plant baskets from Cutud Weavers, Stitched by RAJ hair bows, recycled plastic bags and handbags by Ellen Turla, wooden kitchen utensils by Wood Concept by Madison and Bel’s Woodcraft , kitchen organizers by Flores Handicrafts, capiz home decorations by Chilonia Fabrica, ref magnets by Lucio Sison, fashion accessories from K’s Creations, miniature ships from Adto, metal stands from BG Metal Fabrication, pots, Hand painted forks and spoons and clay pots from Tabaks and dream catchers from Catch your Dreamxx.

Lazatin chief advisor IC Calaguas recalled the very first historic live Facebook sale in 2021, where P 71,626 of revenue was fully donated to local merchants.

She also encourages her kababayans to support # GawangAngeleño products and invites local MSMEs to display their locally made products at the Otop store.

The Otop store is also now holding a contest for the best Tiktok for all City Hall employees where all # GawangAngeleño products should be featured. The winners will receive cash prizes, with P 10,000 as the highest.
