MH Rise Sunbreak Lucent Nargacuga weakness, weapons and armor

0

You want to know what Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Lucent Nargacuga weakness is? The first free update to the already colossal expansion of the RPG game is now available, with four new monsters. Well, these are all variations of existing enemies, so “new” comes with a caveat. To unlock the Lucent Nargacuga fight, you must first beat Gaismagorm to unlock the post-game, then reach Master Rank 10. You will get a quest to hunt a Seething Bazelgeuse, then ask to take care of both of them. a Gold Rathian and a Silver Rathalos. Once you’ve dealt with all three, Lucent Nargacuga will reveal itself, a returning variant we haven’t seen since Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Before you go into battle, you need to equip ice weapons as they are the best to exploit Lucent Nargacuga’s weakness. We highly recommend checking out our Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak weapon tier list, as some focus more on elemental damage than others.

Nargacuga Lucent Weakness

In general, melee weapons deal much more damage than ranged shells to Lucent Nargacuga, with the sole exception of the tail. The tip of his tail is a crucial target in this fight, as cutting it off will prevent him from firing poison barbs for the rest of the hunt. Doing this is easier said than done, as Lucent Nargacuga likes to come in and gradually disappear, often jumping on potential hunters. As long as you don’t get too greedy hitting the monster, you should have plenty of time to dodge its attacks.

Ice weapons are best for Lucent Nargacuga combat as they do the most damage and can slow this nimble beast with Iceblight. You can also deal decent burst damage with Blast weapons, but you may struggle to deal any other type of blast to this stealthy creature.
