Two fans in particular braved the wet weather to watch Leeds training, and they gave an interview, which you can see at the top of the page.

Joe and his grandmother Anne moved from Yorkshire to Australia six years ago, and they are delighted to see Leeds Down Under again, having had to look halfway around the world since their move.

“We’re from Leeds but live in Brisbane,” Joe said. “It’s amazing, they came three years ago, and I never thought they would come back so soon – I’m so happy.

“I can’t wait to see Jack Harrison. Rasmus Kristensen, he looks like a good one.

Anne added: “I can’t wait to see them all. It’s been six years since I’ve seen a Leeds game, I’ve been here for six years. I’m so excited.

Meanwhile, Leeds took to the sand to continue their preparations.

Marsch and his men resumed a little training on the beach, keen to make the most of Australia, despite the windy and wet weather.

Leeds start their summer fixtures on Thursday against Brisbane Roar, and the clash will serve as a marker to see where Los Blancos are in their summer preparations.

Fans will also get their first glimpse of some of the new summer signings, however, we still have time before the fully fit and ready Leeds are on display.
